Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne

Merry Christmas everyone. My focus for this season is that the reason Jesus came was to redeem me. The reason for His incarnation--God come to earth--was to go to Calvary to purchase my salvation. The 4th verse of the beautiful Christmas hymn "Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne" says:

Thou camest, O Lord, with the living word that should set Thy people free;

But with mocking scorn, and with crown of thorn,

They bore Thee to Calvary.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus, There is room in my heart for Thee.

It is my aim this Christmas season to set my heart and mind on His redeeming love for me.

My Husband is Sweet

I have no idea why my husband set up a blog for me, but he might just be sweet. Who knows?
